Jacks are the heart of our operation and come in many sizes and shapes. We operate most of our jacks at 6000 psi. The piston diameters range from 2 inches to 12 inches. Some have hollow plungers; some are long, some short. We use aluminum extensively to reduce weight and improve job efficiency. Skates of many sizes have been developed in-house to move hundreds of tons short distances and are key instruments in our arsenal of toys to master many challenges.

Special Power Supplies have been developed to supply hydraulic oil at a variety of pressures with computer controls that monitor speed and/or systems that can be operated remotely. Portable Barge Ramps are essential to move equipment by barge to the many undeveloped locations along the west coast of Canada and the U.S. Trailer Components developed by Apex allow us to move loads of many hundreds of tons off-road and onto barges. Some components are used to transport hydro transformers from the closest railroad siding or port location to the electrical substations, whether they are up a mountain trail down a narrow side street. We can combine our towers, beams, jacks and skates to create gantries for many unusual tasks, such as removing 65-foot tall digesters, weighing over 200-tons from a second floor pulp mill.
